How long do I have to decide on an introduction?
You have 48 hours from when the introduction arrives to accept or pass. Home and the introduction show how long is left, and we remind you 12 hours before it closes if you haven’t decided. Neither of you sees the other’s answer until you’ve both decided or the time runs out.
While it’s open
- Take your time. Read their profile, the reasons you were introduced and their answers.
- Tap Accept or Pass at the bottom of the introduction.
- If you accept first, you’ll see You said yes. They won’t know until they’ve decided too.
When you’ve both decided
- You both accepted: your conversation opens and we let you both know.
- Either of you passed: the introduction ends. Neither of you is told who passed.
If the 48 hours run out
The introduction closes, and you won’t be introduced to each other again for 90 days.
- If you had decided and they hadn’t, you’re back in the next round as usual. We let you know the introduction has ended.
- If you hadn’t decided, we pause your introductions. Tap I’m ready on Home when you’d like to start again. This stops introductions going to people who aren’t around to answer.
