When do introductions arrive?
Introductions arrive every Tuesday and Friday at 8 pm, Singapore time. Each of these matching rounds gives you at most one introduction, and only when there’s someone who fits what you’re both looking for. If there isn’t, we tell you. You won’t get a new introduction while one is open or while you’re in a conversation.
What a round is
Twice a week, Steade looks at everyone taking part and works out the best set of introductions it can make. Each person gets one introduction at most. Your Home screen shows when the next round is, for example “Friday, 8 pm”, and how long is left until then.
How you’ll know
When an introduction arrives, we send you a notification: a push notification if you’ve turned them on, an email if you’ve kept email on, or both. Notifications never include anything about the person. Open Steade to see who it is.
One at a time
You have one introduction or one conversation at a time:
- While an introduction is waiting for your decision, you won’t get another one. You have 48 hours to decide, so it’s always settled before the next round.
- While you’re talking to someone, you won’t get new introductions. When the conversation ends, you’re back in the next round.
Not every round
We never promise an introduction every round. Some rounds there’s no one who fits you and whom you fit. Waiting is part of how Steade works, and we’ll always say plainly when there’s no introduction for you.
