Introductions and matching
When introductions arrive, how Steade decides who to introduce, what the reasons mean, how dealbreakers work, the 48-hour window and passing.
When do introductions arrive?Steade’s matching rounds run every Tuesday and Friday at 8 pm Singapore time. Each round gives you at most one introduction, and only when someone fits. How does Steade decide who to introduce me to?How Steade’s matching works in plain words: both people must fit each other’s dealbreakers and preferences, and each round finds the most stable set of pairs. What do the reasons on an introduction mean? Each Steade introduction shows up to three facts you share, like ‘You both want children’. Reasons come only from answers you both chose to make visible. What’s the difference between a preference and a dealbreaker?A preference changes who you meet first; a dealbreaker rules people out. You can set up to three besides age, and each one costs introductions. Why didn’t I get an introduction this round?Common reasons you didn’t get a Steade introduction: no one fits both ways, your dealbreakers, a pause, checks still in review, or an open conversation. How long do I have to decide on an introduction? You have 48 hours to accept or pass on an introduction. We remind you 12 hours before it closes, and neither of you sees the other’s answer until both decide. What happens if I pass on an introduction? When you pass on a Steade introduction, it ends for both of you. They only learn it ended, never that you passed, and you’re back in the next matching round.
