What happens after I sign up?
After you finish setting up, your profile and preferences are saved and there’s nothing else you need to do. We start introductions once there are enough members for good ones. Then they arrive on Tuesday and Friday evenings, when there’s someone who fits what you’re both looking for. We’ll notify you when your first one arrives.
While we build the first pool
A one-at-a-time service needs enough members to find good introductions. Until we have them, your Home screen shows Starting soon instead of the next round time. We won’t start early just to send you someone who doesn’t fit.
Checks that need to finish first
You’ll be included in introductions once:
- your identity check is approved, and
- a moderator has approved at least 2 of your photos.
The identity check usually takes up to 2 working days. Your Home screen shows Identity check in review until it’s done.
Things you can do while you wait
- Turn on notifications so you don’t miss your first introduction. You’ll have 48 hours to decide.
- Review your profile and preferences. Changes apply from your next introduction.
- Pause if you’d rather not be introduced to anyone for a while.
