Who can see my profile and answers?
Only the person you’re introduced to sees your profile: your display name, age, what you’re looking for, your approved photos, your bio and the answers you made visible. There’s no feed or search, so no one can browse or look you up. Nobody sees your email, date of birth, contact details or identity documents.
What someone you’re introduced to sees
- your display name and age
- what you’re looking for
- your photos, once a moderator has approved them
- your bio
- your answers, except any you’ve kept private and those used only for matching
- up to three reasons you were introduced
- the Getting to know you lines you’ve left on, if you’ve done those sections
If you both accept, either of you can open the other’s full profile and photos from the top of your conversation while it’s open.
What no other member sees
- your email address
- your date of birth (only your age is shown)
- your sex (Steade uses it only for matching)
- your identity documents or NRIC number
- answers you’ve kept private
- answers used only for matching, such as whether you want children, when you’d like to marry, your faith requirement, your money style and your Life together answers
- your individual answers to What makes you feel cared for and How you communicate (only the lines made from them)
- your one-week check-in answers
- whether you passed on an introduction or blocked someone
Who else can see your information
- Moderators check your photos before they go live, and can open identity documents and reported conversations only to do their job. Every access is logged.
- No one else: We never sell your data, and never use your profile or messages for advertising or to train AI models.
Steade uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages work. It never receives your email, name, profile, answers or messages.
