How do I download my data?
Go to Settings, find Your data under Account, and tap Download. Enter your password to confirm it’s you, and Steade downloads a file with everything it holds about you, including your profile, answers, preferences, introductions and the messages you sent. It’s free, and you can do it as often as you like.
Steps
- Go to Profile and tap the settings icon.
- Under Account, find Your data and tap Download.
- Enter your password and tap Download.
The file is in JSON format, which you can open with any text editor.
What’s in the file
- your account details, such as your email and notification settings
- your profile, answers, privacy settings, preferences and dealbreakers
- a list of your photos and their review status
- your identity check: method, status and dates
- your introductions and how each one ended
- the messages you sent
- the reports you made and any action taken on your account
What isn’t included
- Other members’ messages: They belong to the people who wrote them.
- Identity document images: We delete them after review, so we don’t hold them.
