How do I change or reset my password?

To change your password, go to Settings, tap Change next to Password, and enter your current and new password. If you’ve forgotten it, tap Forgot your password? on the log-in page and we’ll email you a reset link. The link works once and expires after an hour. Passwords need at least 10 characters.

Change your password​

  1. Go to Profile and tap the settings icon.
  2. Under Account, tap Change next to Password.
  3. Enter your current password and a new one of at least 10 characters.
  4. Tap Change password.

You stay logged in on this device, and you’re logged out everywhere else.

Reset a forgotten password​

  1. On the log-in page, tap Forgot your password?
  2. Enter the email you signed up with and tap Send reset link.
  3. Open the link in the email and choose a new password.

For your privacy, we show the same message whether or not there’s an account for that email. If nothing arrives, check your spam folder and that you used the right address.

Change your email address​

Settings shows the email on your account, but it can’t be changed in the app yet. Email hello@steade.app from your current address and we’ll help.
