Steade vs Tinder
Tinder is built around swiping: you like someone, they like you back, and it’s a match. Paid Plus, Gold and Platinum plans add unlimited likes and more. Steade has no swiping and no paid plans. Twice a week it sends at most one introduction, with up to three reasons, between identity-checked members.
Last checked . Sign-up is open. Introductions start once most members have at least five people who fit them both ways.
The main difference
On Tinder, you set your preferences and swipe. When someone you like likes you back, you match and can message. Tinder Plus adds unlimited likes, Gold adds seeing who likes you, and Platinum adds prioritised likes.
On Steade, you never see a stack of profiles. Each round looks for one person who fits what you both said matters, including up to three dealbreakers each. You get their profile and up to three factual reasons, then 48 hours to decide.

Questions
Does Tinder verify users in Singapore?
AsiaOne reported in April 2026 that new Tinder users in Singapore must complete Face Check, a short video selfie compared with their profile photos. Steade checks identity itself, with Singpass or with an NRIC or Singapore pass and a selfie reviewed by a moderator.
Why does Steade send only one introduction?
So each one gets your full attention. You have 48 hours to accept or pass. If you pass, you’re in the next round.
Is Steade free?
Yes. There is no paid tier, no boosts and nothing to unlock, and none is planned. Money never affects who is introduced.
When does Steade open?
Sign-up is open now. Introductions start once most members have at least five people who fit them both ways. Until then your profile and preferences are saved, and we’ll tell you when your first introduction arrives.
