Steade vs Lovestruck
Lovestruck calls itself a matchmaking agency: its matchmakers send you hand-selected profiles, you say who you’d like to meet, and the team arranges the date. Its app lists paid memberships from S$39.98 to S$199.98. Steade picks one introduction twice a week from what you both said matters, checks every member’s identity, and is free.

The main difference
At Lovestruck, a person does the choosing. You receive hand-selected profiles through its app, tell the team which singles you’d like to meet, and they coordinate mutual interest, find a time and book the venue. Its matchmakers “handle everything from selecting matches to arranging the dinner date”.
Steade has no matchmakers choosing for you, and no fee. You set your preferences and up to three dealbreakers, and every Tuesday and Friday at 8 pm a matching round looks for one person who fits what you both want. If you both accept, you chat in the app and plan the date yourselves.
