Steade vs OkCupid
OkCupid asks you questions and uses your answers to suggest matches, each with a compatibility percentage. You like profiles and chat once you match, with paid Basic and Premium plans for extras. Steade sends at most one introduction twice a week, with up to three plain reasons, between identity-checked members, and it’s free.

The main difference
OkCupid is built on questions. Your answers “feed our algorithm”, and each profile you see shows a compatibility percentage. You like people, chat when you match, and can pay for Premium to see who likes you, send unlimited likes and filter with Dealbreakers.
Steade also asks what matters to you, but it doesn’t hand you a list to work through. You set your preferences and up to three dealbreakers, free, and every Tuesday and Friday at 8 pm a matching round looks for one person who fits what you both said. You see their profile and up to three reasons rather than a percentage.

How much does OkCupid cost in Singapore?
OkCupid is free to use, with an optional subscription. Its Singapore App Store listing shows OkCupid Basic at S$13.98 and OkCupid Premium from S$10.98 to S$118.98, plus paid Boosts and Superlikes. Steade is free, with no paid tier.
Does OkCupid verify identity?
OkCupid’s App Store listing doesn’t describe an identity check. Steade requires every member to verify with Singpass, or with an NRIC or Singapore pass and a selfie reviewed by a moderator, before they can meet anyone.
Is OkCupid’s match percentage like Steade’s reasons?
Both come from what you told the service, but they work differently. OkCupid shows a percentage on profiles you browse. Steade shows no score: each introduction comes with up to three plain reasons, such as “You both want children” or “Neither of you smokes”.
When does Steade open?
Sign-up is open now. Introductions start once most members have at least five people who fit them both ways. Until then your profile and preferences are saved, and we’ll tell you when your first introduction arrives.
